"Imagination is more important than knowledge."

Geek Charming is a delightful tween/teen film about high school popularity. This original Disney Channel Movie stars Sarah Highland, Matt Prokop, and Sasha Pieterse.
The story revolves around Dylan Schoenfield (Highland), who is one of "the populars." She is a classic high school rich snob. But there is more to Dylan than what she shows to others. Dylan is vying for the title of Blossom Queen, the high school's Spring Dance Queen.
Josh Rosen (Matt Prokop) is a film geek and the president of the film club. For a film competition he decides to make a documentary about Dylan and what it's like to be popular. As they say in the film, popularity is "a whole other alien world" to those who are not in that circle.
As Josh follows Dylan around, he realizes how shallow she is and is perplexed about how to create a meaningful documentary. Then his mother and school advisor tell him to search out the truth. By doing this he discovers a sweet, lonely, charming and fun girl underneath all the bravado Dylan portrays to her fellow classmates.
Geek Charming is about the princess and the film geek, nerds and divas. While it is geared primarily for tween and teens, it is a cute little movie for the entire family. My tween and teen years are far behind me, but I still enjoyed this film. Grab some popcorn and gather your family around the TV. You'll be glad you did.
The Geek Charming DVD comes along with a separate disc of ten episodes of the Disney Channel hit Shake it Up!
