Po is back in Kung Fu Panda 2 on Blu-ray today. The cuddly Panda captured the hearts of audiences in 2008 with his bumbling yet good-hearted antics. Po, The Dragon Warrior, is now on a new mission - make that two missions. He and the Furious Five are out to save China from Lord Shen of Gongman City, an evil Peacock who wants to take over the country and rid it of Kung Fu. And Po is also on a personal mission to find his own history (which may come back to play in a potential Kung Fu Panda 3).
With beautiful scenery and lovable characters, this film is just as entertaining as the original. The characters each have their own personalities and together they make a great team, whether they are fighting to save the country or helping each other with personal dilemmas.
Viewers will finally learn how the Panda ended up being raised by a duck. Flashback scenes of baby Po are adorable. While revealing the history of Po, the history of the evil Lord Shen also comes into play, and at the end of the film there is a treat for all viewers. So, the only question they will be asking is, "When will Kung Fu Panda 3 be coming out?"

Kung Fu Panda 2 on Blu-ray is rated PG for sequences of martial arts action and mild violence. That said, it is a fun and entertaining family film and is perhaps a lead in to Kung Fu Panda 3.
