Little Heroes on DVD

Combine "Lassie" with "Home Alone" and you've got Little Heroes. This is a story of two very intelligent, talented, and ingenious dogs that must save their little boy when he gets kidnapped. What can two little dogs to do save a child? Plenty. They basically turn the house into a mousetrap for the two bumbling goons who are trying to kidnap little Charlie (Camryn Walling). The things the pooches do to sabotage the house is amazing. They are not about to let any harm come to Charlie and do everything in their power to save him.

The two kidnappers should be called The Two Stooges. Let's just say they are not rocket scientists. But the little heroes, on the other hand, could teach NASA a few things. They are adorable to watch as they set up one mishap after another.

Honestly, Little Heroes is not a film adults will enjoy as much as little kids. The kids will enjoy watching all the ingenious antics of Samson and Hercules as they set up one ambush after another and the two blundering hoodlums fall into every trap.

While parents might find this a little too slapstick, the dogs make the film. They are delightful. If only dogs were like that in real life - we wouldn't need burglar alarms!

"Little Heroes" proves dogs are man's - and kids' - best friends.
