Inspired by a true story, Dolphin Tale is an inspiring film about compassion and humanity. When a dolphin is caught in a crab trap, her tail is badly damaged. She cannot survive without a tail. She is rescued and brought to a marine hospital where the real story begins. 

Knowing that she is in trouble and won't survive without drastic measures, something extraordinary happens. A special device is created to take the place of her tail and let her once again swim like she was intended to swim - free and easy. Imagine the heart and humanity that these special people had to stick with her through this incredible situation. But perseverance and love brought her through this dangerous time.
