"Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life."
- Mark Twain
Martin Scorsese creates his firs 3D film based on the New York Times best-selling book The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. Hugo is an imaginative story about a young boy who has an amazing adventure on a quest to unlock a secret from his father.
Hugo is a little boy without a family. He lives in a Paris train station with a mechanical man left to him by his deceased father. And, according to Scorsese, "this little girl he meets helps him to try to find a family."
Martin Scorsese says Hugo is an "emotional" story that is "funny at times." The acclaimed director calls it "a celebration."
Hugo is a magical 3D adventure for the entire family and a wonderful story for the holiday season. This enchanting film hits the big screen November 23, 2011.
