Snow Buddies on Blu-ray Combo Pack

Snow Buddies on Blu-ray Combo Pack

The Snow Buddies adventure in Alaska is now available on Blu-ray. The loveable talking pups, Budderball, B-Dawg, Rosebud, Buddha, and Mudbud take on the challenge of dogsled racing and meet some new friends along the way. This 2008 film is filled with a lot of fun and delight like all the other Buddies films.

Bonus features are always amusing. After all, they are about the Buddies! Kids will enjoy watching the "Bloopers." Filmmakers created additional footage with the Snow Buddies "acting" like they have made mistakes. They're really cute.

A "Dogumentary" is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Snow Buddies. The filmmakers used a ski resort in Canada as their Alaskan setting. And Shasta, an Alaskan Husky pup, is introduced. This little fellow is absolutely the cutest thing.

All the Snow Buddies were given star treatment with heated tents and trailers. They were each given an assistant to look after them - and give them treats, of course. The pups explain how stuffed animals were used as stand-ins.

Director Robert Vince says the theme of Snow Buddies is reflected in the dogsled race. It is "teamwork, faith, and helping others."

"Buddy Bites" is an alternative way of watching the movie. The Buddies provide commentary, well, they at least they try to when they are not squabbling. Viewers should watch the original film before viewing it in the Buddy Bites setting so they know exactly what is happening in the movie while the Snow Buddies ramble on, and on, and on.
