The Buddies are back! This time they are in an exciting new adventure that takes them all the way to Egypt in search of the greatest treasure. In their quest they must solve puzzles as they explore a mysterious ancient tomb. Teamwork has always worked for them and this time is no exception.

The story takes off when Pete's grandfather is asked to go to Egypt to look for a lost treasure, the necklace of Cleocatra. Although Pete hates leaving Mudbud behind, he jumps at the chance to be on an adventure with his grandfather. But when Mudbud learns that they are heading into danger, he summons his brothers and sister who then sneak onto the plane and hitch a ride to Egypt where they intend on saving Pete and his grandfather.

What they learn is that during Cleopatra's time, her cat, Cleocatra, attempted to steal her beloved necklace. All cats were then banished and it was at that time when dogs became man's best friend. The necklace, or collar, can bring back cat domination.

Ubasti, a nefarious hairless cat wants to get to the necklace and restore cats as the dominant species. The buddies decide to "kick some serious kitty butt!" 

The story is told through a mischievous monkey, Babi, who tells his nephew Babu about befriending the pups and helping them save the treasure and the humans.

Along the way they meet a young camel, Cami, who has been camel-napped. Babi, Rosebud, Budderball, Buddha, Mudbud, and B-Dawg all help Cami escape and return to her family. 

As with the other Buddies adventures, the additional animal characters are just as fun as the canine pups. 

There are some great bonus features including Digs: B-Dawg Edition where viewers get to see B-Dawg's home. This doghouse is not what you would imagine. 

Treasure Buddies is a fun-filled canine Raiders of the Lost Ark! It's true family entertainment, filled with exploits, adventure, and a lot of laughs.
